This
page is dedicated to the memory of our loving dog, CH Rathsrigg
Solitaire (Romeo), who passed away on Monday, March 6, 2000, after
a brave battle with cancer.
Romeo was born on
January 7, 1998 and he arrived in Canada in March of that year after
a long flight from the United Kingdom. From the moment he stepped
out of his crate, he was home. The character of this great little
dog is something we shall never forget.
Scroll down to see pictures of Romeo at various
stages in his life.

Romeo won us over
with his joie de vivre, his intelligence and also his quality.
He was one of the nicest Bedlingtons I have ever put my hands on.
His demands were few, all he wanted in life was a human close by,
the ever present ball and of course the odd girl now and then! A
faithful companion who never complained and took everything in stride.

As he grew and matured,
we were starting to get really excited at the future this young
dog was bound to have. His qualities were obvious. He sported the
lovliest coat so rarely seen, he was sound and typical of the breed.
He seemed to know his place and carried himself proudly when here
at home.
